How to Manifest Anything with the Mirror Technique

Sharing is caring!

Learning different Law of Attraction techniques can be incredibly helpful when trying to manifest your desires.

Some tools and rituals can help us have that manifestation breakthrough so that we can finally start attracting our desires.

However, while you might be tempted to try all the different LOA methods or games under the sun, some of the most powerful methods are the simplest and quite literally right in front of us... like the mirror technique.

It's simplicity is one of the reasons why I'd recommend starting out with the mirror manifestation technique before other rituals like the 5x55 method, which can take a bit more time and effort than this one.

Because the mirror technique, or mirror method, is a Law of Attraction exercise that all of us can do at any point, given that most of us will have at least one mirror in our homes.

That makes it so simple to do and incorporate into your existing routines (like your morning routine!) so that you don't have to invest too much extra energy into making your dreams a reality.

In this post we'll explore exactly what the mirror method is and how you can use it to manifest your intentions, so keep reading!

The power of mirror manifestation

The truth about the Law of Attraction is that we are our most powerful asset.

When it comes to manifestation rituals it isn't the vision board or the script or the manifestation box itself that attracts our desires to us... it is the energy that we emit into these physical things that brings us closer to our desires.

Given this truth, I want you to think about what you think or say to yourself when you look in the mirror.

Are the thoughts that you engage in positive or negative? Are the things you say to yourself kind? Or are you your own worst enemy?

The reason that I'm asking you this is because the very nature of a mirror is that it reflects back to us what we see, right?

Now imagine this mirror also reflects back to us our energy - what we think, how we feel, what we believe about ourselves.

I like to imagine a mirror as an amplifier of the energy that we are already embodying. It magnifies what we already feel within.

This amplification means that when we stare back at our reflection we are taking in more of the same energy, whether this is positive or negative.

So if you look in the mirror and think negative things about yourself then this will amplify those things. And you'll end up feeling even more negative and heightening this experience.

For example, we’ve all had those days where we are feeling less than good about our physical appearance, right? And in these times many of us have the habit of obsessively looking at ourselves and pointing out our flaws in the mirror, even though we know this is not helpful for us.

Because the trouble is, the more we look at our flaws, the more flaws we notice. And we tend to spiral into feeling even worse than we did in the first place.

Unfortunately obsessing over your flaws won’t make them go away - in fact, when you’re directing your energy towards them you’re more likely to worsen them.

But of course this is just one example, and when a mirror is a reflection of energy this means that we can also use it to our advantage, which is where the mirror technique comes in.

whAT IS THE MIRROR TECHNIQUE?

So we've spoken about the power of a mirror at reflecting our energy back at us, and how when we're unconscious of this this can relate in more negativity and undesirable experiences for us, right?

But now… imagine we were conscious about the things we think or say in front of a mirror and used it as a tool to work with the Law of Attraction. To specifically embody the energy of our desires in order to reflect this energy back at us and into our reality.

Because that’s essentially exactly what the mirror technique is. It's using the power of mirror manifestation to our advantage, rather than letting it be an unconscious process.

The mirror technique involves looking at yourself in the mirror and embodying the energy you want to attract through your thoughts, words and even your body language.

By embodying this energy, we are able to tap into our subconscious and amplify the high vibrational feelings that are in alignment with who we want to become.

It's a simple and powerful shift that you can incorporate into your day in order to bring your desires closer and eventually manifest the dreams you have set for yourself.

How often should i use the mirror technique?

Ideally, this is a practice that you want to engage in every day to gain the most benefits, as consistency really is key with any Law of Attraction technique.

The perfect opportunity to use the mirror technique everyday is to include it at a time when you will already be using a mirror - this means you really don’t have to change your routine at all!

For example, you can use the mirror technique when you’re brushing your teeth or doing your skincare routine or putting on makeup.

These routines also tend to be first thing in the morning or last thing at night which also makes them amazing opportunities to target the subconscious!

You might also wish to use the mirror technique before a big event or opportunity that you want to build confidence for.

Using this technique can help to give you a boost that makes you feel empowered and gets you to the right vibration!

How to use the mirror technique for manifestation

As I said earlier, the mirror technique is super easy and something that all of us can do.

You don't need any fancy tools or tonnes of time, you simply need yourself, any mirror (though a wall mirror would be preferable) and an open mind!

Here are six simple steps that you can follow to use the mirror method to manifest whatever you desire right now.

  1. Go to a quiet, calm place with a mirror - ideally a full length mirror on the wall, but as long as you can see your face that’s the most important thing!

  2. Adopt a posture that makes you feel empowered - put your shoulders back and lift your head with confidence. Think power pose!

  3. Center yourself with a few deep breaths - you want to try and clear any stagnant energy and enter the exercise with an open mind so that nothing is standing in your way.

  4. Look directly into your own eyes - this is how you'll connect with yourself on a soul level, and it will make it easier to not get distracted or be tempted to start picking away at flaws!

  5. Tune into the feelings that you want to embody - whether that’s confidence, love, joy or whatever is relevant to you. Think about what you're trying to manifest and how you would feel if this desire came into fruition.

  6. Begin to say words aloud that affirm these feelings further - you can also speak the words in your mindspace before you build the confidence to speak them aloud.

It is up to you whether you want to frame your words in the form of affirmations or as more of a “pep talk” that you are giving to the person in the mirror.

This means you can either use the words “I am” or “you are” depending on what feels right to you. There is no right or wrong with this practice and it's about what helps you to embody the energy you need to attract your desire.

The more you practice it, the more in alignment you will become so try and stay consistent if you can and incorporate this manifestation technique into your morning routine or evening routine for the best results.

I’d love to hear from you if you try the mirror technique and any results you have from it!
